Ferguson Lake Road closed due to wash out

Update: 350 pm:

The city says a temporary bridge will be set up over the washout, but is to be used for essential travel only – meaning people who live on the street and emergency vehicles.

Everyone else is being asked to steer clear until there is a permanent solution.

It is Prince George’s most impressive pothole.

Ferguson Lake Road has been shut down to all traffic between Edward Road and the Ferguson Lake Nature Reserve due to a severe wash out.

City crews are looking into temporary solutions, but they are asking people to steer clear in the meantime.
