Over 700 delegates will be in Vancouver this week for the annual BC Council of Forest Industries Convention.
Among those in attendance will BC Assembly of First Nations Regional Chief Terry Teegee.
The event will bring together representatives from the local, provincial, federal, Indigenous and, forestry leaders to discuss the future of the province’s forest sector.
It kicks off tomorrow (Wednesday) and runs until Friday at the JW Marriott Parq Hotel .
The provincial forest industry contributes $17.4 billion annually to BC’s GDP.
