A Prince George man was arrested after allegedly discharging firearms in a gravel pit.
Shortly before 8 p.m. Friday night, police arrived to Teardrop Forest Service Road and say they heard shots fired from an automatic weapon.
A man and two women tried to escape and dodge a police blockade but were eventually caught after several independent searches, thanks to police dog Baron (pictured).
Sergeant Lindsay Houghton with the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of British Columbia says five people were taken into custody, but were released, except for the prime suspect.
Five guns and numerous rounds of ammunition were confiscated from the scene, though no fire-arms related charges have been laid, yet.
