Touch-a-Truck event returning to PG on Friday

The Civic Centre Plaza in Prince George will be the sight of the 3rd annual Touch-a-Truck event hosted by the Prince George Public Library.

The event runs from 1 to 3pm on Friday and Program Lead, Kaitlyn Vardy says a large variety of trucks will be on hand.

“A Zamboni, we have an RCMP truck, we’ve got a tow truck and a dump truck, we have some heavy rescues, some light rescues, skid-steer, the fire truck is coming, a pick up truck and some other trucks.”

In 2013, the second instalment of the show saw over 600 people.

The event is back after a hiatus in 2014 due to renovations at the Canada Games Plaza.
