A two-vehicle collision is slowing down vehicle traffic on Highway 97 south near the Stone Creek Forest Service Road according to the Prince George RCMP.
The accident occurred at approximately 3:20 p.m., involving a logging truck and a snow plow.
“Both vehicles are currently out of the flow of traffic, but police officers are staying at the location and will be alternating lanes of traffic while they wait for the tow vehicles. Road conditions on the highway are slick and police are asking drivers to slow down when they approach the incident location to help
prevent further collisions,” stated Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
No injuries have yet been reported in this investigation.
Drivers are advised to check with Drive B.C. before heading out on the highways.
