The 103rd BC Northern Exhibition is right around the corner, and the Northern Taste Market is picking up steam!
This year’s culinary expo will feature vendor booths, tastings, demonstrations, Iron Chef-style challenges, and a tasting lounge.
“In the tasting lounge, you’re going to be able to sample some of BC’s best wines, beers, all that kind of stuff in a nice cool area, and we’re going to have a live feed of all the chef challenges,” says Norm Coyne.
Food Network celebrity Bob Blumer is also back for the attack.
“He is a season TV pro with this kind of stuff,” smiles Coyne, “It’s unbelievable. His Colour commentary while the show is going on is incredible.”
There will be pro and amateur chef competitions, and what Coyne has seen so far has blown him away.
“Donna brought in some grilled chilli shrimp with squid ink apple purée.”
The top chefs will take home fantastic cash prizes, and the audience is guaranteed a great show.
The Northern Taste Market at the BCNE runs from August 12-16.
