Terik Parascak scored the Teddy Bear goal, unassisted on a breakaway, at 6:21 of the third period before 5,780 fans at CN Centre.

Josh Ravensbergen made 16 saves for his sixth shutout of the season, in just his 13th WHL start.

The 17-year-old Ravensbergen has tied the PG Cougars record for most shutouts in a season that was set by Scott Bowles in the 2005-06 season.

The (22-8) Prince George Cougars visit the (19-12-1-1) Everett Silvertips on Wednesday, the (20-9-3) Wenatchee Wild on Friday and the (11-17-2) Vancouver Giants on Saturday in their final three games before the Christmas break.

The (8-14-3) Prince George Spruce Kings host the (10-10-6) Trail Smoke Eaters Friday night at 7:00 and Saturday night at 6:00 in their final two games before the Christmas break.

The Spruce Kings are last in the 8-team Interior Division, five points behind the 7th place (10-13-3-1) Merritt Centennials, six back of (12-14-1) Cranbrook and seven behind Trail.

The U18 Cougars are in first place in the 9-team BC Elite Hockey League, a point ahead of the (15-3-0-2) Vancouver North East Chiefs.
