The BC Government wants some public feedback in regards to several new water policies.
As part of their approach to implement an updated Water Sustainability Act, several proposed policies are now available for public comment on the WSA blog.
The Current water act was established over 100 years ago, and the government believes it no longer adequately addresses population growth, development and climate change.
The Water Sustainability Act will kick into place in 2016, and they are looking for comments on potential new policies until September the 8th.
A link to papers outlining these policies can be found here.
