A round of cheers is in order for a Prince George microbrewery that took home some provincial hardware over the weekend.
Deadfall Brewing’s Company Cold IPA claimed gold in the Specialty IPA (India Pale Ale) category beating out Powell Brewery and 4 Mile Brewing Company.
In September, judges tasted 925 entries to find B.C.’s best 29 different beer styles, from simple lagers to highly hopped IPAs and dense barrel-aged imperial stouts.
Deadfall Brewing launched in June 2022, making it PG’s third microbrewery joining Trench and Crossroads.
The event was held on Saturday in Vancouver from the Croatian Cultural Centre.
