The Stage Reading Series is back for another season at Theatre Northwest.
On Friday, the theatre will open it’s Stage Reading Series for the season.
“It’s a series we’re really excited to have, it’s a great opportunity for us to have local artists on stage and to try works that would otherwise be complicated for us to produce,” said Theatre Northwest Artistic Producer Marnie Hamagami.
The series will open with a reading of “Halfway There.”
“This piece is by a Canadian Playwright named Norm Foster, he is a well-known Maritimes Playwright, and has written a few things we’ve done here at Theatre Northwest over the years,” Hamagami said.
“He’s funny, talks a lot about relationships, and this one in particular is quite clever.”
In total, there will be seven stage readings in the series.
