Former Prince George Cougar Fischer O’Brien has found his new team.
The Alberni Valley Bulldogs acquired O’Brien’s BCHL rights from the Penticton Vees in exchange for future considerations.

“I’m excited to finish off my junior career and 20 year in Alberni, I’ve only heard good things about the team and the fans,” O’Brien said.
“I’m looking to help better the team, and win some hockey games.”
The 6’2″ 185 pound forward played a total of 151 games (regular season and playoffs) for the Cougars over three seasons, scoring six goals and adding 24 assists.

O’Brien was initially picked by the Lethbridge Hurricanes as the 98th overall pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.
He was traded to the Cougars in exchange for Tyson Phare in the 2019 off-season.
