Jared Young’s second stint with the MLB’s Chicago Cubs has come to a close.
Young was sent back to the AAA Iowa Cubs at the start of the week, suiting up in their last four appearances.
While in the MLB he played 13 games with Chicago, batting .171 (6 for 35), with a home run in his season debut and five RBIs.
Young has batted .319 with Iowa this season over the span of 56 games, including 13 home runs and 45 RBIs.
Iowa is currently in the middle of a six-game set with the Memphis Redbirds, having won 2/3 so far.
