Non-profit groups in the Fort St. James area are encouraged to take advantage of a series of grants.
The Healthier Communities Alliance is handing out five endowments worth up to $3,000 each for those who apply.
Councillor Joan Burdeniuk says the money is for projects that improve the health of the community.
Burdeniuk says the grants are available for any group in the area.
She says grant applications need to be in by the end of June.
