Cariboo Regional District ends a number of evacuation orders

The Cariboo Regional District has rescinded a number of evacuation orders.

An Evacuation Order issued back on July 11 for the Pelican Lake area, including Titetown, has been rescinded and replaced with an Evacuation Alert.

644 parcels are impacted.

An Evacuation Order for the Lhoosk’uz (Kluskus) area has also been rescinded and replaced with an Evacuation Alert.

That impacts 135 parcels of land and was just issued on Friday. (July 14)

An Evacuation Order for the Townsend Creek area, impacting just 3 parcels, has also been downgraded to an alert.

An order remains in place for 8 parcels to the northeast of that.

Finally, a small portion of the Evacuation Order for the Teepee Lake Area in the Nazko region, just the northwest corner, is being rescinded and replaced with an alert.

A large portion of that area remains under an Evacuation Order.
