The Prince George RCMP and PG Fire Rescue will hold a summer car seat clinic later this month.
On July 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., parents and caregivers can attend the clinic to have their car seat safety-checked by a Child Passenger Safety Educator.
Trained Child Passenger Safety Educators from the RCMP and Fire Rescue will be there to give advice and assistance to help ensure car seats are safely and securely installed.
“This is also a good opportunity to find out if you are using the right car seat for the age, weight and height of your child, or to ask any question about car seat safety,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
The clinic is being offered by appointment only.
To reserve an appointment, parents and caregivers are asked to call the Prince George RCMP Community Policing Office at 250-561-3366, Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Those wanting to attend are also asked to know the make and model of their car seat when they call to pre-register.
The RCMP held another Car Seat Clinic back in January.
We are excited to partner with the @PG_RCMP to host another car seat clinic in #CityofPG this summer!
Child Passenger Safety Educators from the RCMP and Fire Rescue Service will be on-hand to ensure your car seats are safely installed.
