Mother Nature might open up the skies in Prince George.
A special weather statement has been issued by Environment Canada where 15 to 25 millimetres of rain could fall today (Tuesday).
The weather office says strong winds gusting to 60 kilometres an hour along with rain and potential thunderstorms could occur.
A cold front is sweeping across the province as a high of 17 degrees is being predicted.
In addition, a Smoky Skies Bulletin is in place for our area. The region is expected to be impacted by wildfire smoke over the next 24-48 hours.
