The 2023 Hospice Dream Home season is officially open.
This year’s home, located at 3445 Munro Way in University Heights, is valued at $800,000.
“We’re excited to be in a brand new neighbourhood up here in University Heights,” said Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society Executive Director Donna Flood.
“We also have a brand new contractor, Toor Enterprises, which has made a beautiful contemporary home for us. We’re just really excited to reengage with the community and welcome them in and come and see us and see the beautiful house.”
Flood added the Dream Home Fundraiser is the biggest of the year for Hospice.
“It allows us to do what we do, it’s because of the Dream Home Lottery that we’re able to provide the care that we do at the Rotary Hospice House as well as the community programs we do.”
Flood noted the fundraiser helps pay for 30 per cent of the care the Hospice House provides, as well as their community programs.
13,999 tickets will be sold at at $125 each, with the grand prize draw on December 1st, 2023.
Additionally, there will be two 50/50 draws with a chance to win up to $150,000.
The first draw will be held on August 31st, the second draw date will be announced at a later date.
Tickets are available seven days a week at the home from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and online 24/7 on the Hospice Dream Home website.
