The City of Prince George has chipped away at its line painting program.
The city has decided to end the contract with the company who did the line painting this year.
They’ve also reduced the amount the company would be getting paid by 15%.
Public Works Associate Director Gina Layte-Liston says the city spent just over $200,000.

“If we include both the linear and the hand work which includes the crosswalks,” says Layte-Lison, “and then also the survey work to begin it, its just under $200,000.”
Layte-Liston says the original contract was for two years with an optional third.
