The Multicultural Society of Prince George is making sure this Canada Day will be one to remember!
While Canada celebrates birthday number 148, Prince George has hit the big 100!
Today’s celebration will kick off at Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park at 11, and will have everything from face painting and crafts, to a dunk tank and miniature train, and ethnic food stands and 5 hours of onstage entertainment.
This year’s fireworks display will take place at Connaught hill at 11PM, and will be simulcast on Country 97.
Organizers expect a turnout of more than 12,000 people.
A shuttle service will run every half hour between Spruceland Mall and Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park.
Transit will cost $1 all day, or will be free with the donation of a non-perishable food item.
