Local high jumper makes her way to Pan Am games

Prince George will have several athletes at this years Pan Am Games in Toronto.

This includes Inner-city boxer Kenny Lally, womens baseball pitcher Amanda Asay and even 23 year old DP Todd grad Alyx Treasure, who will be competing in high jump.

She explained how she is looking to elevate herself to the next level:

“Coming off of NCAA’s I didn’t have exactly the meet that I wanted, so it’s kind of giving me a drive to push harder in training and make sure that it doesn’t happen again”

Treasure and 88 other members of the Canadian Team will be making their way to Toronto for the games, which take place from July 10th through the 26th.
