The Government of BC has committed funding towards the fight against invasive species in the Province.
$2.25 million dollars has been added to an additional $1.7 million from earlier in the month of June, which has been dubbed “Invasive species action month”
This funding will now be allocated between 20 committees and agencies across all areas of BC, to target the highest priority areas and eliminate plants, weeds, and other species in those regions.
