Northern health is recognizing some energy saving initiatives.
Executive Director of Capital Planning Mike Hoefer says their board meeting last week discussed energy saving projects at several facilities:
“Last year we did six of them, and they ranged from boiler replacements to building control systems to boiler upgrades”
Hoefer says the team was able to reduce natural gas consumption by 3% last year, while electricity consumption also dropped 2%.
