A third person is entering the mayor’s race in Prince George.
Roy Stewart was the solicitor for the city for two decades.
In addition, he also held the role of a trustee within School District 57 from 1981-1988 and was the chairperson in 1984.
Stewart was named Citizen of the Year in 1990.
Two years earlier, Stewart joined the Interior University Society as a director before becoming president.
He guided the society until the University of Northern British Columbia was created by the Act of Legislature in 1992.
The other two mayoral candidates are PG Chamber CEO Todd Corrigall and local businessman Chris Wood.

PG’s civic election is set for October 15th.
