John Zukowski will be vying for a spot on Prince George City Council.
Zukowski owns Pacific Body Jewellery and Piercing in Downtown Prince George.
On his website, Zukowski said he realized there was a need to run for City Council after a Council meeting on December 2nd, 2019, in which he felt there was a disconnect between council and the public.
“How do we come together and work as a community? Simple, we elect people to City Council who take the duty and responsiblity of being a City Councillor seriously,” he wrote.
“That means actively engaging the residents when they ask for help with issues surrounding community life and personal advancement.”
Zukowski helped push for the establishment of the Safe, Clean, Inclusive, Downtown Committee.
The Municipal Election will take place on October 15th.
