This year’s British Columbia Northern Exhibition (BCNE) has a full roster of sights to see and things to do to celebrate its 110th birthday.
Some highlights include a main stage featuring local talent, musicians, and other entertainers all weekend long, a dog show, lots of food, and a grilling competition with a celebrity guest judge, Season 7 Masterchef winner Shaun O’Neale.
Last year’s BCNE was a smaller event due to the pandemic, but that didn’t stop thousands of residents from across the north making their way out to celebrate one of the first open public events in years.
“We are expecting the same, if not more than last year because we are at a full event again” said General Manager Sylvia Layzell. “If Cariboo Rocks the North is any indication of how things will go, it is going to be pretty busy.”
