The Prince George municipal election is on the horizon.
Starting today the city is accepting applications for mail in ballots.

They are available to all residents who are eligible to vote, although when you request and receive a mail ballot you have to commit to it, and will be unable to cast your vote in person.
Mail ballots will not be sent to residents until September 29th and have to be back by 8:00pm on October 15th, election day, in order to be counted.
The candidate nomination period begins on August 30th and campaigning will start on September 17th.
