NHL: One Friday Playoff Game

With Colorado’s 4-2 series win, the Western Conference Final is now set in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The Colorado Avalanche will take on the Edmonton Oilers, starting on Tuesday (5:00 p.m.)

The Eastern Conference Final could potentially be set tonight, as the Carolina Hurricanes take on the New York Rangers. (5:00 p.m.)

Carolina holds a 3-2 series lead.

WHL: 

Kamloops Blazers  4  Seattle Thunderbirds  3

Daylan Kuefler scored the game winning goal in overtime to give the Blazers a  3-2 series lead over the Thunderbirds.

Kamloops will look to eliminate the Thunderbirds on Sunday in Kent, Washington. (5:05 p.m.)

The Blazers picked up a win off the ice as well, as Kamloops has been awarded the hosting rights for the 2023 Memorial Cup.

The Oil Kings eliminated the Ice in convincing fashion in five games, and will advance to the WHL Championship Series.

Dylan Cozens had a three point outing in 18:20 TOI in Canada’s win.

The Canadian’s will take on Finland, led by Mikko Lethonen (2g, 8a) in the gold medal game.

Miami’s Jimmy Butler posted an incredible 47 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals, and 1 block in the win.

Alejandro Kirk  scored on  an error by Angels right fielder Juan Lagares in the ninth to give the Jays the late lead.
