Prince George hit with a Snowfall Warning from Environment Canada

Updated story at 9:50 AM

Old man winter continues to hang on by a thread in Prince George.

A snowfall warning remains in place for the northern capital as up to 15 centimetres could fall by the end of today (Tuesday).

However, Environment Canada Meteorologist, Derek Lee doesn’t expect the snow to last long.

“As we head into mid-week, we are going to start to see temperatures returning back to our seasonal average, and by Saturday and Sunday it looks the temperatures will be in the mid-teens here so we are definitely heading back into a normal trend.”
