High Tea for Hospice returning in May

Another opportunity to fundraise for the PG Hospice Palliative Care Society is coming soon.

On May 15th, the PG Hospice Palliative Care Society will be hosting “High Tea for Hospice.”

“What it’s really all about is a day for girlfriends to get together, of all ages, really, and just enjoy the afternoon,” said Jessica Rankin, Special Events Support.

“There are finger foods, they have scones, jams, lots of tea of course, and we’ll even have Elvis Presley impersonator Steve Elliot there to do a little entertaining.”

Rankin added they will also have silent auction items, and roses for sale.

The funds raised will support the garden behind the hospice facility.

“It’s a beautiful little labyrinth that you can walk through, and there a different flowers, and different trees and such back there,” Rankin said.

“It’s a really nice outdoor area for our guests, and our families to enjoy when they can.”

Rankin said with the funds raised from High Tea for Hospice, they’ll be able to plant more new flowers in the garden.

Tickets are available here.
