The four Scotiabank Branches in Prince George have been recognized for their work in the community.
The local banks have been awarded the Scotiabank Bright Future Community Leadership Award for their work with the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.
Main Branch Manager Trevor Lutes says their work with the foundation started with hosting the Festival of Trees Senior’s Tea.
“That has evolved over the years,” says Lutes, “and most recently with the Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada satellite location, where we raised some funds and the proceeds, went to Spirit of the North.”
Lutes says Spirit of the North is one of the many organizations Scotiabank partners with.
He says they want to make sure there is the right healthcare technology and support for the area.
