J.T. Miller notched a hat trick and added an assist for a four-point game.

Spencer Martin picked up his first NHL victory with 33 saves.

The (19-19-5) Canucks continue a four-game road trip Saturday night at 7:00 (PT) against the Flames in Calgary.

The (17-19-1-1) Prince George Cougars play their next six games in the U.S. starting tonight at 7:00 against Taylor Gauthier and the (22-11-3-2) Portland Winterhawks.

The Cougars also visit the division-leading Everett Silvertips Saturday night at 6:00.

Prince George is 3rd in the B.C. Division and 6th in the Western Conference, two points ahead of the (16-18-2) Vancouver Giants.

The (19-9-2-3) Prince George Spruce Kings host the (11-14-3-3) Vernon Vipers tonight and Saturday.

The Spruce Kings are third out of nine in the Interior Division, five points behind the Penticton Vees and one point ahead of the West Kelowna Warriors.

The UNBC Timberwolves host the Fraser Valley Cascades in Canada West men’s basketball tonight and Saturday night at 6:00.

The UNBC men are 4-7 on the season while the Fraser Valley men are 5-4.

The women’s games between UNBC and Fraser Valley have been postponed because of COVID-19 related protocols.

(The UNBC women are 5-6 while the Fraser Valley women are 9-2)

The NFL Conference Championship Games will be played on Sunday.

In the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs host the Cincinnati Bengals (12:05 p.m. PT).

The Chiefs are 7-point favorites to advance to the Super Bowl for the third straight year.

In the NFC, the San Francisco 49’ers visit the LA Rams (3:40 p.m. PT).

The Rams are favored by 3 1/2.

(U18 Male)

The Cariboo Cougars games this weekend on the road against the Vancouver Northwest Hawks have been postponed.

The U-18 Cougars are scheduled to host the South Island Royals on Feb 5th and 6th.

The (11-11-1-3) Cougars are 5th out of 10 teams.

The Northern Capitals are idle until Feb. 4th when they visit the (2-19-1) Greater Vancouver Comets in Richmond.
