With the weather getting colder and more snow falling on the ground, PG residents will be soon be able to enjoy more Winter activities.
Hart Ski Hill General Manager Jess Koppe says opening day today (Saturday) was very successful.
“The number of people, that’s tough to tell because we have a lot of season pass holders too, they don’t necessarily come inside.”
She added today’s dump of snow was great for the hill.
Purden Ski Hill’s website says they are now open as well.
Some other winter activities are almost ready to go.
In an email to Vista Radio, Ice Oval Committee President, Kathy Lewis said they are hoping to open the oval tomorrow, as too much snow fell today, and more floods are needed.
