Highway 16 to be closed intermittently this evening from Terrace to Topley

Drivers going along highway 16 this evening are being made aware of closures.

This is because large commercial vehicles will be transporting oversized cargo that requires full highway closures.

The cargo will be travelling from Terrace to Topley this evening (Friday)  from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.

Drivers should expect delays during that time.

Additionally, the cargo will be travelling Saturday evening from Topley to Prince George from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m.

The closures are expected during low traffic volumes to reduce the impact on drivers.
