BC government provides Nepal relief aid

The Province of BC is sending some money to aid Nepal following last weekends massive earthquake.

The government announced earlier on Friday that it would be providing $300,000 towards disaster relief efforts which will provide food distribution, blankets, hygiene kits and sleeping mats while also supporting search and rescue efforts.

BC liquor stores are also accepting donations to the Canadian Red Cross relief efforts at any store in the Province, with $2 and $5 donations through June the 6th.
