The Prince George branch of the Royal Canadian Legion is once again working on another Remembrance Day that will be slightly adjusted due to the ongoing pandemic.
“The Legion is committed to creating a safe and memorable Remembrance Day ceremony – we know
how meaningful the event is to our members and the general public,” said Branch President Margaret Goings.
This year’s ceremony will be taking place tomorrow (Thursday) outdoors at the Cenotaph in front of City Hall starting at 10:30 am.
It will include remarks of welcome, wreath-laying, reading of Flanders Fields, and two minutes of silence.
The Prince George Legion was formed in 1926 and has been providing services to veterans and their
families in the northern capital for 95 years.
