The Prince George Legion is celebrating one year since moving into its new location.
Branch President Bruce Gabrielle says they are quite pleased with their space on 6th Avenue.
But he says now they are hoping to get more people coming through the door.
“I’ve told everyone you don’t have to drink alcohol to support us,” says Gabrielle, “we have a beautiful kitchen, great cooks, the food is wonderful, and we have very good prices.”
Gabrielle says they have been able to pay off the costs of renovating the branch through donations and volunteer work.
He says they are currently at 500 members, and you don’t have to have served in the military to become a Legion member.
