RCMP catch break and enter suspect in PG

Prince George RCMP caught a break and enter suspect this morning (Wednesday) just before 2 am.

Police received a report of an alarm at a business on the 1200 block of 5th Avenue, found that a window was broken, and found Adrian Squinas inside the business.

The 25-year-old PG resident was arrested for breaking and entering, as well as breaching his court-ordered curfew and other probation conditions.

Break and enter with intent, failure to comply with a probation order, and failure to comply with undertaking are charges that have been approved by the BC Prosecution Service.

“The increase in our presence and active patrols in Downtown Prince George, focusing on criminal activity in this space, is what enabled a prompt response that resulted in the suspect being caught at the scene,” said Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

Police are still investigating the incident.
