The Prince George Airport Authority has rescheduled the live fire training initially set for Monday and will now be happening today (Saturday).
Residents in the vicinity of the airport may see dark smoke in the area, but the PGAA would like to remind the public that these fires are held in self-contained training facilities under controlled circumstances and do not pose a threat to public safety.
They are part of ongoing recurrent fire training and certification.
