Warriors Walk for Healing Nations complete their 2,000 km journey

A group of three people started walking from Whitehorse in response to the remains of 215 Indigenous children found at the Kamloops Residential School, and the growing band finally arrived at their destination yesterday (Monday) in Kamloops.

The Warriors Walk for Healing Nations started their trek on May 26, and arrived in Prince George on June 26.

When they arrived in PG they had grown to a group of 16, and they had been traveling about 60 KM a day.

On their 2,000 KM journey, they stopped in places across BC to meet with community members along the way.
