The alert is in effect for about 40 properties on the Northeast side of Main Street beginning at William Road, and extending beyond the Swift Creek Bridge to the end of Main Street in Electoral Area H of the RDFFG.

According to the District, residents are still being advised to refrain from the area as it is still considered an active landslide.

The Village of Valemount sources its water for the community water system through Swift Creek, and residents are being warned that the water source could be vulnerable to a slide.
