1.3 kilometres of sidewalks being repaved in PG

A 365 metre stretch of sidewalk is being repaved in Prince George.

The length along 20th ave, from Queensway to Maple Street, is part of the total 1.3 kilometres planned for repaving in 2021.

This is in part funded by the Community Works Fund.

The other three projects that received funding are:

  • The now completed east side of Kelly Road, between Vellencher Rd and Austin Rd.
  • Simon Fraser Ave North East side between Cowart Rd and Eton Ave.
  • Ospika Blvd East Side between Ferry Ave and Pinewood St.

Some of the streets being milled around PG include Connaught Drive, Juniper, Kenwood, Larch, Norwood, Oak, Pine, and 16th Ave.
