A suspicious fire on 3rd avenue causes over $300,000 in damage

Last night (Friday) at around 11 o’clock Prince George Fire Rescue responded to a fire at Special Beauty Parlor and Day Spa.

The two-story commercial building was on fire, with heavy smoke and flames coming from the roof.

There was some heat damage to nearby buildings, but the fire was quickly controlled.

Nobody was hurt from the fire, but damages are estimated at around $320,000.

The fire is still under investigation but is considered suspicious.
