Interviews have once again begun for Initiatives Prince George’s Business Retention and Expansion Program.
The Program sees 60 businesses from all sectors of the PG economy take a 45 minute interview to see what opportunities and challenges are being faced, and how IPG can help to address them.
IPG CEO Heather Oland says the program is vital for a city relying so much on the local economy:
“76% of all new job creation and capital investment in a city comes from existing businesses, so having a clear understanding of the opportunities and challenges that face Prince George businesses is really important”
Oland says this is an opportunity for businesses to have the spotlight focused on them, with IPG staff coming directly to their workplace.
She says in 2014’s round of interviews, a vast majority of ventures found value in learning about the programs IPG offered and were thrilled to input into the design of those programs.
Any local business owner who is interested in taking part in round two is encouraged to contact Neil O’Farrell at 250-649-3205 or via email at [email protected].
