Two Rivers Gallery hosts travelling film festival

Two Rivers Gallery is hosting a travelling film festival Friday night.

As coordinator Kathleen Angelksi says one of two films screened tonight, features a family of four who disconnects from the grid.

“It follows a family of four who basically disconnects everything, they move to the Yukon for nine months with two teenage children,” she says. “It’s a documentary following their experiences and what they learned and how they connected with each other and nature.”

There is a second film on tonight called “The Malagasy Way” which is a documentary discussing the people of Madagascar and how they build everyday items out of almost nothing.

It all gets underway at 7 pm, at the Gallery on Canada Games Way.

With $5 tickets available at the door.
