Current semester at UNBC will not be lengthened due to strike action

UNBC and its faculty met with a mediator on Thursday, looking to get the ball rolling now that the Labour relations board has joined the discussions.

UNBC’s VP of external relations Rob Van Adrichem says they will not be making up class time missed, and will be ending the semester as scheduled:

“So classes will end on April 17th, and then the exam period will run from April 20th to April 30th”

He says its great to have classes back and see everyone in the halls, and he remains confident that an agreement can be reached as soon as possible.

Something going on in the Prince George area you think people should know about?
