The Brink Group has helped kick off the YMCA Megathon with a donation of $3,000 towards its $10,000 goal.
The Megathon is returning to Prince George this year, hoping to raise $10,000 for the Strong Kids Campaign with an eventual goal of $60,000 by the end of August.
Like most events, this year’s fundraiser will be different because of the pandemic.
“It will encourage family participation with a combination of virtual sessions and community activities to promote movement and healthy living, while raising funds for local kids,” said Spokesperson Stephanie Deol.
On March 13th, participants will earn entries to the grand prize by completing activities and raising money for the campaign.
