One man is recovering at the University Hospital of Northern B.C. after being stabbed multiple times say the Prince George RCMP.
Police were called to a home on the 1100 block of Vancouver Street on Saturday morning for a report of a stabbing.
“Frontline members quickly attended the basement unit of the residence and located a male suffering from multiple stab wounds,” said Constable Jennifer Cooper, Prince George RCMP.
The man was brought to the University Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Police say the event appears targeted, and that the victim and suspect knew each other.
“Multiple witnesses have already provided their statements to police and are being cooperative,” said Cooper.
The public is not believed to be at risk, she added.
