Hit the slopes! Purden Ski Hill now open for the season

The Purden Ski Hill is officially opened for the season today after experiencing 52cm of snow in the past day (Friday).

With the heavy snowfall ending around 6:30 this morning, conditions at the hill are described as, “better than early season conditions and the best opening conditions we’ve had in a long time.”

Today(Saturday), the hill is only open for a half-day and will be closing at 3:30pm.

Both the Baker Creek Chair and T-bar are opened for the first day of the season.

The list of open runs are as follows:

  • December Sun, Expressway
  • Soya’s Choice
  • Blue-Jay
  • Whiskey Jack.
