Blast of winter leaves behind 10 to 15 centimetres of snow in PG

Well, the roads were less than stellar as Prince George drivers navigated through a snowstorm on Monday.

Environment Canada Meteorologist, Gregg Walters told MyPGNow.com the amount of snow that fell varied depending on where you live.

“It looks like 10 to 15 centimetres was the average amount, it was a pretty decent system that pushed into the Southern Interior. ”

“That could be a possibility (some places got more snow than others) we can only judge from the places we did get reports from but it can vary depending on elevation and the wind aspect as the system comes in.”

Walters is expecting cloudy skies with flurries to dominate the forecast between now and Thursday.

Daily temperatures during this time are expected to hover around minus one and minus three degrees.
