Prince George RCMP continues 8 year-long investigation of missing man

The PG RCMP’s Serious Crime Section is still investigating the disappearance of 32-year old Barry Blain Seymour from Fort Ware, B.C.

Seymour was last seen in Prince George 8 years ago and was reported missing on May 26th, 2012 after attending his son’s birthday party.

He decided to stay in the city for a few extra days at a local motel and last seen in the evening near the Sunrise Trailer Park on Lansdowne Road.

Seymour is described as a 5ft 7 Indigenous male weighing around 174lbs with black hair and brown eyes.

Police have conducted an aerial search of the Fraser River between Prince George and Quesnel, a boat search on the Fraser River Shoreline, a Police Dog search around Landsdowne Road.

Extensive ground searches have also been lead by the PG Search and Rescue Society.

Within the last 8 years, police have followed up on a number of leads and conducted plenty of interviews.

According to Police, there is no evidence to indicate that Barry has been the victim of foul play.
